DIALOGUE OF DESIGN BY DESIGN PATAKI

Design Salon by Design Pataki returns for its second edition, this time with a sense of homecoming at Four Seasons, Mumbai on August 22nd and 23rd, 2026. More than just an event, it’s a curated convergence of design, dialogue, and leisure—brought to life by Esha Gupta, founder and Editor of Design Pataki India, in partnership with White Teak by Asian Paints. As an invitation-only gathering, it draws together India’s most influential architects, designers, studios, and brands, creating a space where ideas flow as freely as inspiration. It’s where vision meets craft, and the future of Indian design takes shape.

Inspired by Europe’s storied salons—where art, intellect, and culture mingled in intimate rooms—Design Pataki reimagines this legacy for India’s creative community. At the Mansion’s Great Room in Four Seasons, that spirit comes alive. Every detail, from the curated brand booths to the ambient flow, reflects a deep curatorial vision—transforming the space into a living dialogue where design and artistry don’t just meet, they resonate. It’s not just an event; it’s an experience built for connection, conversation, and inspiration.

“Bengaluru felt like the natural next choice from Design Salon Mumbai because the city has always been at the forefront of shaping contemporary design conversations in India,” reflects Esha Gupta, founder of Design Pataki.

The second edition of the @designpataki Design Salon in Bangalore, May 30th and 31st, 2026, truly captured the city’s creative pulse—an unforgettable weekend at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, where design, heritage, and contemporary expression came together in perfect harmony. With leading designers and brands under one roof, the air was charged with innovation and inspiration.

Design Pataki’s deep connection to Bangalore’s vibrant scene shines through its localized features and curated events, reinforcing its role as a vital platform for India’s luxury design narrative. This wasn’t just a gathering—it was a celebration of vision, craft, and community.

The first Design Salon at the newly reimagined Four Seasons Mumbai set the tone in true style—bringing together 25 visionary designers and 15 standout brands for a week of inspiration and connection. It began with an intimate tour, deepened with a tactile workshop led by Firdaus Variava of Bharat Flooring, and then shifted gears at The Modernist, the chic art-deco lounge, where laughter ruled the night with Aditi Mittal’s sharp wit. It was more than an event—it was a celebration of craft, culture, and the vibrant energy that defines India’s design scene.
